USA Beach Korfball National Team
HEAD COACH ERIK VAN DEN BULCK
Coach Erik from Belgium has a storied history as a player and coach in indoor korfball, and is a pioneer in beach korfball. As a player, Erik competed in the top indoor league in Belgium for 14 years, including stints with the U19, U21, and Senior National teams. As an indoor coach Erik led 8 clubs in Belgium’s top league: Spartacus, Borgerhout, AKC, Ganda, Minerva, Kwik, Vobako, and Riviera. Belgium played a major role in the creation of beach korfball as a variant, and Erik was there from the beginning. He coached the Belgian National team for 6 years, earning a Bronze medal at the first-ever IKF Beach World Championships, before joining the US squad in late 2023.
