LARIEL “L” MATEO
Outside of Korfball
Lariel grew up in Daly City, CA where she competed in basketball before suffering an ACL injury. She used this experience to study Health & Exercise Science at the University of the Pacific, and would eventually earn her Master’s degree. She is the founder of Mateo Tutoring and runs an online digital illustration shop. Lariel currently lives in Lisbon, Portugal where she competes in Portugal’s indoor korfball first division.
